Bairnsdale - Hoddinott Reserve Playground

Council is pleased to have concept plans underway for this exciting new upgrade to Hoddinott Reserve, East Bairnsdale. The upgrade will create a destination for the local community, combining play and passive recreation. The reserve will contain contemporary and interactive play facilities, new seating amenities and landscaping to reinvigorate and enhance this tired reserve. By upgrading facilities within the reserve it will allow for increased play opportunities and activities for the local community.

Components within the reserve will include an accessible and inclusive play space for 4 to 12 years of age, shade trees, soft landscaping, picnic facilities and seating throughout the reserve. Boulder play for the more advanced in ability with structured play equipment located under the existing shade structure and a less formal nature based play area of logs and stepping stones will be included to create a differing play activity.
