Mallacoota - Mudbrick Pavilion Upgrade
Mallacoota Mudbrick Pavilion is a valuable, volunteer built, heritage building that was originally constructed as a soccer pavilion. It has been used for many years as the local community hall and hub for performing arts. The building is used by many community organisations for meetings and events.
The project will see the upgrade the entire facility to meet growing demand through the refurbishment of the existing structure along with some small extensions.
The proposed outcomes of the Mallacoota Mudbrick Pavilion are:
- Upgrade the kitchen and bring this facility up to commercial grade with hygiene stations for hand washing and cleaning
- An all-abilities toilet to be installed within the pavilion.
- External toilets to be refurbished
- Upgrade/extension of storage facilities
- Rebuild of stage to provide additional depth and upgrade of stage access to improve safety and amenity.
- Construction of separate studio/workshop, including dedicated wash-up facilities.
