Tender for construction of the Greer Street sports pavilion carparking has been awarded to Jennings Civil Group Pty Ltd.

The Project Supervisor met with our contractor this week to discuss construction programming.

We anticipate construction to commence in the coming weeks.

Tender for construction has now closed.

Council is working through the tender evaluation process; an update will be provided once this process has been completed and the contract has been awarded.

Community feedback on the draft car parking design is being used to inform further development of the design plans to provide more parking.

Streeter Civil Engineering Services Pty. Ltd. has been engaged to undertake detailed design. The initial design included five new carparks; however, the new design will provide more than double the original amount. A disabled carpark, new kerb and channel, and associated drainage works will also be included.

Once the detail design is complete, tender for construction will be released.

Due the increased project scope and subsequent price increase, commencement of construction is subject to future funding availability.
