This project is complete.

The road safety improvements on Nungurner Road were completed in August 2023.

About the Project:

Nungurner Road winds through a semi built up rural area, this section of road is very shaded and there is low sight distance between corners. Nungurner Road also leads to a local school and provides a connection between two arterial roads.

The safety improvement works will improve safety for road users to negotiate through a winding section of Nungurner Road.

Project Scope:

1.6km treatment section, 600m west of Nungurner Jetty Road intersection.

The project will see the installation of new dragon's teeth line marking on approach to a number of corners and improve delineation, line marking and guideposts to increase drivability.

Budget:

This project has been funded through Australian Government Black Spot Program 2022/2023
