Project Overview
Council is pleased to have secured funding via the Federal Government Black Summer Bushfire Recovery program to upgrade the much-loved Lake Tyers Beach Community Hall.
The upgrade will include improved IT facilities and the upgrade of indoor and outdoor meeting spaces.
The works will also provide improved facilities to allow for expanded community activities and events to maximise the use of this facility. It will also provide for an increase in overall indoor and outdoor space and flexible use of the gathering space.
An upgrade to the bathroom facilities will increase the number of toilets. Landscaping will be undertaken to improve the outdoor spaces as part of Council's scheduled gardening and maintenance program.
It is a really exciting project for an underutilised facility which is much-loved by the community and will provide a beautiful space for many gatherings and celebrations for years to come.
