Seven key themes to consider for Bairnsdale 2050

A lot has changed over the past decade and Bairnsdale 2050 will replace the previous Bairnsdale Growth Strategy (2009). Over the past months, we have undertaken a detailed analysis of a range of different factors that may impact our future growth and identified a series of challenges and opportunities which we have organised into seven themes. You can read more about each theme in our Bairnsdale 2050 Discussion Paper.

Theme 1 - Housing

Theme 2 - Places and Spaces

Theme 3 - Industry

Theme 4 - Shops and Businesses

Theme 5 - Movement and Access

Theme 6 - Sustainability and Climate Change

Theme 7 - Community Infrastructure

We need your thoughts and ideas!

We are welcoming all community members to share their ideas and participate in developing solutions to the many challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Your feedback and ideas are essential to the development of Bairnsdale 2050; we are taking a unique approach to developing this Strategy where we will be using feedback from the community to directly shape the project.
