Theme 7 - Community Infrastructure

Bairnsdale has a range of community facilities that service our local community and the broader East Gippsland region. Council owned and managed facilities include libraries, community hubs, sport and recreation facilities, meeting spaces, and kindergartens. Moving towards 2050, we need to ensure our facilities support our growing population. We also need to use and design our facilities to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs.

  • What community facilities do you use the most in Bairnsdale and what do you like about them?
  • What services and facilities do you travel to outside of Bairnsdale to access?
  • What community facilities do you think are most needed in the future to support our growing population?
  • How can we better use and design our community facilities to be more flexible and adaptable to changing needs?
