Swifts Creek - Public Realm Masterplan
East Gippsland Shire Council is partnering with Fraser Design Collaborative to prepare the Public Realm Masterplan for Swifts Creek.
The Public Realm for Swifts Creek refers to features and places such as the Recreation Reserve, the Skate Park, the Tambo River Playground, Poets Walk, the Swifts Creek Hall and Great Alpine Gallery frontages, and the Great Alpine Road streetscape, including trees and street furniture.
Feedback during initial community engagement will be used to identify a range of achievable projects that aim to enhance the amenity and aesthetics of the township.
To inform the development of the Masterplan, we are wanting to speak with the Swifts Creek community to learn about what is most valuable, what should be retained, what could be improved and what could be changed.
Your insights are welcome
Two opportunities are scheduled to discuss community needs, desires, and concerns for the public spaces of
Swifts Creek with the design team.
Feedback will be used to inform the development of the concept plan. Further consultation is planned to occur following the development of the concept plan.
