Moroney Street stage 3A is complete.

Completion of stage 3a has seen the section of Moroney Street between Birchwood Court and Bredt Street receive a significant safety upgrade, and the construction of a new roundabout at the Bredt Street intersection.

The work included drainage improvements, new kerb and channel, construction of footpath connections between Bredt Street and Combay Street, and the Combay Street bus stop upgraded to meet standards for compliant connections.

This week, Whelans’ crew began the last stage of this project which includes safety improvements for road users and pedestrians between Bredt Street and Riley Street.

We anticipate this final stage to be completed in early December 2024 and thank the community for their patience during this period.
