Slip Road Maritime Precinct is officially open!

More than 250 locals, stakeholders and project supporters joined us today to celebrate the opening.

A highlight was watching Gippsland Lakes Boat Storage demonstrate the new boat slip, with the Dragon Boat Kingfisher Club also joining us with a dragon boat on display.

This project has been years in the making, and today was a great opportunity to celebrate the vision, hard work and dedication that has brought it to life.

A huge thank you to our Council staff and project teams for their commitment throughout the project, and to Carter Marine and all our project partners for helping make it happen.

The new precinct will support local businesses, tourism and jobs, while creating an even better place for our community and visitors to enjoy the Gippsland Lakes.
