The first sections of Jetty 3 have now been successfully installed – marking another milestone in the transformation of the Paynesville Maritime Precinct

This new jetty will span approximately 80 metres in length and 2.4 metres in width, creating around 40 new berths in the marina. Once complete, it will feature floating finger pontoon jetties on either side and a gangway to provide safe and convenient access from land.

These upgrades are designed to enhance access, usability, and enjoyment for both locals and visitors, supporting recreational boating, tourism, and local business opportunities.

What’s Happening Now:

  • Floating Pontoons: Fabrication and installation continue, with the first section now in place.
  • Landscaping: Kerbing, topsoil, and seeding are underway behind the northern seawall to green and beautify the area.
  • Boat Ramp Upgrade: A new, longer and deeper commercial boat ramp is being prefabricated and installed to improve functionality.
  • Utilities Commissioning: Power, water, and fire services are being activated across the precinct.
  • Car Park Improvements: Sealing, asphalting, and line marking are progressing to improve traffic flow and accessibility.

These works reflect our commitment to delivering a modern, functional, and inclusive maritime precinct that meets the needs of the Paynesville community and its visitors.

Thank you for your continued interest and support – we look forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses.
