$6.35M funding secured!
We have welcomed the announcement that we are to receive $6.35 million dollars through the Australian Government’s Growing Regions Program for the renewal of the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club.
This project is one of only eight selected for funding across Victoria in a highly competitive grant program. It aims to enhance the Yacht Club's ability to host world-class events and promote greater community engagement with the foreshore.
The project will further develop the iconic waterfront site for community enjoyment, as well as supporting local water sports clubs. The new multi-purpose community facility will include amenities and boat storage, multi-functional spaces, public decks, and a function hall.
