The contract for construction was awarded to Cranes Asphalting and Bitumen Sealing Pty Ltd (Cranes) at the 30 April 2024 Council meeting.

Programming for construction will be advised when available - we look forward to working again with Cranes.

This project includes a range of infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving both functionality and aesthetics, including widening of the road, the implementation of car parking solutions, and the integration of road calming measures to ensure smoother traffic operations.

Footpath upgrades and the installation of raised pedestrian crossings are prioritised not only for safety but also to enhance the overall appeal of the surroundings.

Additional measures include improved safety protocols at intersections, upgraded drainage infrastructure for efficient flood management, and the formalisation of boat trailer parking areas.
