Construction works on Marine Parade commenced on 24 June 2024, as planned.

Our contractors, Cranes Asphalting and Bitumen Sealing have since made significant progress and you can already see the carparking bays taking shape.

Drainage infrastructure works have also commenced at the main boat ramp carpark and the Laura Street intersection.

The wet weather has caused some minor delays; however, the Cranes' crew continues to work between weather events when possible.

Works have been staged to minimise disruptions, and road safety measures have been implemented including signage, traffic lights, and fencing.

Please follow all directions from our contractor during this time, to ensure safety for all.
