Lake Tyers Beach - Skidale Close Reserve Upgrade
Skidale Reserve adjacent to Lake Tyers Tavern and foreshore was identified for an upgrade in the Lake Tyers Masterplan. This project will enhance the reserve by installing new play equipment, seating, paths and landscaped areas which will complement the existing natural environment of the park.
The upgrade will increase visibility into the reserve whilst celebrating the views to the ocean and beach. New lounge style seats will allow users to sit in the sun whilst enjoying the outlook with updated play equipment and nature-based play elements will allow the reserve to be appreciated by the community and visitors alike.

This project is in the 2023/24 council budget for construction.
