The seat featuring Gunaikurnai creators Borun, the pelican, and Tuk, the Musk duck, was installed at the southern end of the Lakes Entrance footbridge on Monday 14 August 2023. The seat is constructed of metal and wood and is approximately 3m in height and width. Inspired by the Gunaikurnai creation story, Borun holds Tuk and the canoe in his embrace. Visitors can enter Borun’s embrace and sit next to Tuk on the canoe, or outside on the ends of the canoe.
