This was the last bridge to be completed through the current budget, with nine timber bridges replaced in the 2023/24 financial year.

East Gippsland Shire Council's timber bridge replacement program is nearing completion. In the past 9 years over 153 timber bridges have been replaced with steel and concrete bridges, or where possible, major culverts.
