The Road Management Plan sets out how we inspect, maintain and repair Council-managed roads and footpaths.

The plan is guided by the Road Management Act 2004, and sets the expectation around how quickly we fix issues in your local area, within the limitations of time and resourcing, such as:

• Potholes
• Raised or uneven footpaths or
• The cleaning of roadside drains

Consultation and community engagement

We are a big region with a small number of ratepayers, so we seek innovative ways to deliver what our communities need. For example, not all roads in the municipality are Council-managed, so we advocate to improve Victorian government roads.
