Works are continuing to move ahead steadily.

What’s been happening on site

Significant progress has been made across the pavilion and surrounding facilities:

• Kitchen and bar areas are now taking shape; the stainless-steel benchtops are installed and approximately 385 square metres of wall tiles completed.
• All floor coverings have now been installed throughout the pavilion.
• Veranda decking is complete, with handrails and balustrades to follow soon.
• Footpaths around the pavilion are finished, paving the way for installation of the bleacher seating framework.
• External signage has been installed above the social room doors.
• Plumbing works are well advanced, including installation of fixtures, hot water systems and firefighting tanks.
• Electrical works are nearing completion.
• Painters are currently on-site applying finishing touches.
• Subfloor cladding is underway, providing important ember protection for the building.
• Concrete pads for stairs have been poured, and stair fabrication is underway.

Sustainable and supporting infrastructure

• Installation of 85 solar panels with 65kW battery storage is progressing, supporting long‑term sustainability.
• Pipework for power and water has been installed from the new pavilion to the cricket and football facilities.
• Trenching and preparation for the football and cricket storage sheds is complete, with slabs poured and works continuing.

Sports and recreation improvements

• Works to the netball fencing have enabled shelter installation.
• The old mesh has been removed from the existing cricket nets.
• 80 tonnes of arena sand and fertiliser have been applied to top dress the oval.

What’s next

Over the coming weeks, the focus will be on:

• Completing electrical and plumbing fit‑off.
• Installing balustrades and handrails.
• Finalising bleacher seating and stairs.
• Completing storage sheds and remaining external works.

This project is really starting to show its potential, with many key elements now complete and the pavilion coming together both inside and out.
