📅 July 2025 - civil works complete

The civil construction works for the Air Ambulance Transfer Facility at Bairnsdale Airport are now complete.

This milestone marks a significant step forward in delivering a purpose-built facility that supports the vital work of Air Ambulance Victoria, which conducts the highest number of fixed-wing aeromedical retrievals in regional Victoria - up to three times daily.

This project was identified as a priority in the Bairnsdale Airport Masterplan 2020 and has been made possible through funding from the Australian Government’s Regional Airports Program.
