Project Update

Our Planning and Design team has continued to progress the Raymond Island Ferry Landings Replacement Project.

During the design phase, a number of technical and site-specific considerations were identified. These require further investigation to ensure the final design is safe, practical and able to meet the long-term needs of the community

To support this work, we have engaged specialist maritime engineering consultants, AW Maritime, to undertake the detailed design of the ferry landings.

Our team is working closely with AW Maritime and relevant stakeholders to finalise a detailed design that meets operational requirements, enhances safety and reliability, and provides a long-term solution for the Raymond Island community.

We appreciate the community's patience as we work through this important stage of the project. Further updates will be provided as the detailed design progresses and future works are planned.
