Project Update – Public Toilets Review
Thank you to everyone who contributed to our recent Public Toilets Review. We appreciate the time community members have taken to share their experiences and ideas for improving public amenities across East Gippsland.
What We Heard

Your feedback has given us valuable insights into how well our current public toilet services are meeting community needs.
Satisfaction Levels
Overall satisfaction with our public toilet services is medium to low.
Key themes emerging from the responses include:
- Cleanliness — the most significant concern raised through survey.
- Availability of supplies — including toilet paper, soap, and functioning dispensers.
These insights help us better understand where improvements are most needed.
What Happens Next
Council will be using the data collected to inform the development of the Public Amenities Service Review and guide our broader toilet strategy moving forward. This information will play an important role in identifying gaps in current service provision and shaping future improvements.
We are now undertaking detailed analysis of the feedback and will soon begin engaging with targeted stakeholders to further test, refine, and confirm our potential future direction.
