We’re pleased to provide the following update on the Livingstone Park Omeo – Spillway and Pedestrian Bridge Replacement Project.

Project update

• Contract works have been awarded to local contractor Jarvis Norwood.
• Prefabrication works are now complete.
• On‑site construction will commence from 20 April 2026.

Construction impacts

• During construction, creek flow will be diverted through a tunnel to allow works to occur safely.
• The immediate construction area will be closed to the public for the duration of the works, including water activity.
• Access to Creek Street and the carpark will remain open.
• Public use of the wider park area and MTB trails will continue to be available during the works.

What to expect

• Changed conditions within the park during construction.
• Increased construction vehicle movements in and around the site.

Please take care when visiting the area and follow all signage and directions.
