You can provide feedback by:

• Sharing your aspirations for the Omeo Justice Precinct Masterplan through the ideas board on this page
• Attending a community drop-in and co-design session in June 2025
• In person at any of our service centres and libraries

There are elements of the project that can be influenced by community and stakeholder comments:

• Types of commercial opportunities and uses proposed for the site
• Design elements and concepts within the masterplan (e.g. accessibility features, visitor facilities)
• Elements of the visitor experience (e.g. interpretive storytelling, local business involvement)
• Storytelling approaches including incorporation of Historical and First Peoples' narratives

While all feedback will be considered as a part of the process, there are a few elements that are not open to change:

• Adhering to heritage protection standards for listed assets, we must meet regulatory and best practice guidelines
• Project timelines and funding commitments already secured or in process
• The future governance and management of the Precinct

East Gippsland Shire Council collects your information to seek feedback for the Omeo Justice Precinct Masterplan. The information you provide will be used for internal planning on this document only and will remain completely confidential.

This project allows you to submit your feedback anonymously however, if you choose to include any personal information, such as your name, or address, please note this will be visible to Council for the specific purpose of developing the masterplan.
