Stage 1 of the Metung Boardwalk revitalisation is now complete.

This upgrade delivers a safer, more durable, and low-maintenance walking experience for the community.

Key improvements include:

• New walking platform – providing superior strength and longevity.
• Solar-powered bollard lighting – enhancing visibility and safety after dark.
• Accessible ramp with compliant handrails and grab rails – ensuring inclusivity for all users.
• Toe caps and tactile indicators – improving edge protection and accessibility.

This revitalised section is designed for a longer lifecycle with reduced maintenance, ensuring it remains a valuable asset for years to come.
