• Sharing your thoughts through the Mallacoota Foreshore Masterplan Survey
• In person at any of our service centres and libraries

There are elements of the masterplan that can be influenced by community and stakeholder input:

• The long-term vision for Mallacoota Foreshore Holiday Park. 
• Ideas for unique and memorable accommodation options like glamping tents, eco cabins, and affordable stays for seasonal workers, while keeping the park’s natural charm. 
• Suggestions for revenue opportunities such as upgraded sites or extra services that benefit visitors and support local businesses. 
• Feedback on waste, water, and energy solutions that reduce impact and build climate resilience. 
• Thoughts on current infrastructure and creating new areas for everyone to enjoy. 
• Input on upgrades that make the park more welcoming, accessible, and environmentally friendly, while blending with its natural setting. 
• Ideas to reflect Mallacoota’s culture like educational signs, art installations, shared spaces, or even an amphitheatre.

While all feedback will be considered as a part of the process, there are a few elements that are not open to change:

• The park will stay council-managed, leasing or subcontracting to private operators is not being considered. 
• The park will remain within its current footprint, no expansion or reduction. 
• Swimming Pool or Jumping Pillow won’t be included due to cost, safety, and the park’s nature-based character. 
• Permanent residential development inside the park is not part of the plan. 
• Public Access to the foreshore and surrounding natural areas will not change. 
• Any development won’t significantly impact views of the foreshore from nearby homes or businesses

East Gippsland Shire Council collects your information to seek feedback for the Mallacoota Foreshore Park Masterplan. The information you provide will be used for internal planning on this document only and will remain completely confidential.

This project allows you to submit your feedback anonymously however, if you choose to include any personal information, such as your name, or address, please note this will be visible to Council for the specific purpose of developing the masterplan.
