We recently completed initial remediation works on the Bastion Point groyne wall. Following further assessment, it has been decided that additional rock will be placed to further strengthen the wall and support its long-term stability. Blasting of quarry rock has commenced and the additional works are anticipated to be completed in the coming months.

These additional works will help safeguard the structure into the future, and we appreciate the community’s ongoing patience as this final stage is carried out.
