    Who creates the Plan?

Place Plans are developed collaboratively. Council leads the process, with community members, groups, and stakeholders playing a key role in shaping the content and priorities.

Why are we creating Place Plans?

East Gippsland is made up of diverse communities with unique needs. Place Plans help ensure local voices shape local outcomes, while still aligning with broader Council strategies.

What happens after the Place Plan is finalised?

The Plan becomes a guiding document for Council officers and community members. It helps prioritise investment, support funding applications, and align future projects with community goals. The Plan will be available on our website.
