Project Update 9/08/2022

Stage 1 of construction of the Bullock Island bridge is now complete and ready for vehicle use. Installation of stainless-steel handrail and LED lighting will occur towards the end of the whole project. The newly completed lane is now open to traffic with the footpath continuing to be closed whilst there is nearby construction activity. Construction of Stage 2 has commenced which includes construction of a footpath and outbound lane. The relocation of utility services that were housed within the bridge is now also complete. The project is on track for completion by December 2022, just in time for the busy tourist season.
