Why is Council undertaking this project?
Council is undertaking this road upgrade as a continuation of previously completed stage 1 of Lake Tyers Beach Road – Flounder road to Bream Road.
This project seeks to address the much-needed drainage upgrade and improve road infrastructure. Council has allocated budget towards this reconstruction of road in two stages as part of the 2024/25 Urban Road renewal program.
Driveway access
Efforts will be made to minimise disruptions to driveway access. If damage occurs to the driveway due to the construction of drainage infrastructure or footpaths, it will be reconstructed to its original condition.

Is there any impact on parking?
There is no public parking along this section of road. Access to driveways will remain available; residents will be notified in advance of any reduction to access.
