A design has been developed in accordance with established road design regulations and standards.

The design provides a high-level representation of key improvements, layout, and features, helping stakeholders understand the project's intent and extent of roadworks.

Key elements of the design include:

• Improved road drainage systems (kerb and channel, stormwater pits, and pipes)
• Accessible shared path for cyclists and pedestrians
• New bus stop near the Flounder Road intersection
• Reconstructed road pavement

This project does not include street lighting, off-street parking, or drainage works on private property.

In addition to Council’s planned works, the Department of Transportation and Planning will provide a new bus stop near the Bream Road intersection.

This project will be programmed for construction once the detailed design is finalised.
