Following community feedback and further design review, Option 3 has been selected as the preferred playground concept, with a few refinements made to the original design.

What’s changed?

• Minor modifications have been made to the concept design to improve functionality while maintaining the overall vision for the space.
• The location of the new playspace has been adjusted to safely avoid the sewer main that runs through the centre of the upper terrace lawn area.
• The updated layout ensures the playspace is positioned to avoid impacts on the large, established trees on site.

What’s next?

We’re currently working closely with the playground supplier to confirm an installation timeframe. In addition to the new playspace, the project will also include:

• Installation of updated bollards.
• Improved seating around the playspace to enhance comfort and accessibility for families and carers.
