The local agriculture sector will have the opportunity to have its say on the operating model for the East Gippsland Livestock Exchange (saleyards). 

We started a commercial review of the saleyards in March 2024, as part of our continual improvement process.

Please take 5 minutes to complete our survey after reviewing the executive summary report here.

We are not selling the saleyards. The aim of the review is to present Council with options for the most effective operating model for the facility and in consideration of the following key objectives:

• To ensure the business delivers the best outcome for the farming community
• To ensure the business is managed to a high industry standard
• To ensure the business is financially sustainable for the future
  

The survey is open from Monday 10 March to Sunday 6 April 2025. 

This survey includes general questions about the participant (i.e. gender, postcode, and age) to give an indication of the audience reached. The personal information provided will only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and will not be disclosed to other people or organisations without your prior written consent, or where it is required by law.
