East Gippsland Event Action Plan

We’re inviting the community to help shape the future of events in East Gippsland.

This survey is part of the development of the East Gippsland Events Action Plan 2026–2030, which will guide how events are supported, grown and delivered across the region over the next four years. Your feedback will help identify opportunities to strengthen local events, attract visitors, and ensure events continue to deliver economic, social and cultural benefits to our communities.

Whether you’re an event organiser, local business, volunteer or community member, your insights are valuable in helping us understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made.

This survey will take around 2–4 minutes for community members and event attendees, and 5–7 minutes for businesses and event organisers.

East Gippsland Shire Council collects your information to seek feedback on the options for the development of the East Gippsland Event Action Plan. The information you provide may be used to inform events across East Gippsland. This project allows you to submit your feedback anonymously however, if you choose to include any personal information, or make reference to where you live, it may be possible to identify you given the specific nature of this project. Please note your feedback will be visible to Council staff, including the Project Supervisor and external consultants for the specific purpose of developing this Event Action Plan.
