Council's Transport Study will help it understand existing community and public transport operations and identify opportunities for transport solutions across East Gippsland Shire.

This Study will inform flexible and collaborative transport to:

  • Improve connectivity between the many dispersed communities in East Gippsland, including remote and vulnerable communities
  • Reduce transport disadvantage
  • Improved social connections.

    The information provided will help inform East Gippsland community Transport Report Recommendations. 

    Recommendations will be utilised in:

    • policy and planning processes, 
    • advocacy to responsible agencies for improved services and community connection 
    • design and implementation of community transport solutions.
