Planning Scheme Amendment C172egip has been listed in the Government Gazette and now forms part of the East Gippsland Planning Scheme.

Amendment C172egip (the Amendment) updates the East Gippsland Planning Scheme by implementing recommendations of the Paynesville Growth Area Structure Plan (PGASP). Details of the changes relating to the PGASP can be found in the Amendment C172egip Explanatory Report.

For the Paynesville Growth Area, there will now be a more detailed plan prepared to outline road and subdivision layouts, new infrastructure, and environmental protection measures, before any development can occur. Community consultation will be a key part this process, and Council will invite you to get involved and share your feedback as the plans are prepared.
