About Amendment C169egip

Amendment C169egip (the Amendment) proposes to update the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Planning Policy Framework (PPF) sections of the East Gippsland Planning Scheme to implement recommendations of the following Council Strategies:

The East Gippsland Planning Scheme (the Scheme) is made up of a number of chapters that provide a framework for Council decision making relating to the use and development of land. The MPS and PPF provide high level State, regional and local planning policy guidance.

The MPS considers our context, history, strengths and influences and provides the vision and objectives of Council’s response to important issues for or community. The PPF complements the MPS and sets out the statewide, regional and local planning policy which will implement the vision and objectives of the MPS.

Details of the proposed changes relating to the MPS and PPF can be found in the Amendment C169 Explanatory Report. It is recommended that interested community members review the Amendment documentation available on this page to determine how the Amendment relates to your land or interests.
