Project Update - 16 June 2023

The Bullock Island car parks and access Road are currently closed (5 June – 3 July 2023).
Lakes Entrance Fishing Cooperative, Gippsland Ports Boat Yard, and TAFE are not impacted by these closures and will be trading as normal during this time.

Bullock Island Masterplan Implementation associated works continue to progress well.

Current works include;

Decorative concrete in traffic Island being poured
Subgrade works nearing completion
Water & sewer installation underway.

Completed works include;

Vegetation removal
Kerb installation
Excavation works in Southern car park
Installation of subgrade and pavement material in southern car park

Consultation has concluded

Major upgrades at Bullock Island, Lakes Entrance are complete with visitors now able to better enjoy this stunning location close to the famous entrance to Bass Strait.
