Community input welcome – Benambra public toilet design

Please take a few minutes to tell us your thoughts on the appearance of the new public toilet facility at Dejarlais Park, Benambra. 

The allocation of funds for the design and construction of a new public toilet facility in Dejarlais Park, Benambra responds directly to community feedback and aims to enhance local amenities for residents and visitors alike. We recognise the importance of ensuring our facilities reflect the character of our communities, so we’re inviting you to share your ideas, preferences and suggestions for the external design of the toilet block — including cladding, colour and character – within the scope of the project budget.

This survey will close midday, Wednesday 8 October 2025.

COLLECTION NOTICE: 
East Gippsland Shire Council collects your information to seek feedback on the options for the development of the Benambra public toilet facilities at Dejarlais Park. The information you provide will be used to ensuring this facility reflects the character, values and aspirations of the Benambra community. This project allows you to submit your feedback anonymously however, if you choose to include any personal information, or make reference to where you live, it may be possible to identify you given the specific nature of this project. Please note your feedback will be visible to Council staff, including the Project Supervisor and external contractors for the specific purpose of developing this Benambra project. Words provided in your feedback will not be used or repeated in any public communications or reporting.
This survey includes general questions about the participant (i.e. location and age bracket) to give an indication of the audience reached. The personal information provided will only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and will not be disclosed to other people or organisations without your prior written consent, or where it is required by law. Survey results will be used to shape any changes to the draft concept design before going to detail design.
