The contract for construction was awarded at the 28 November Council meeting.

The contract was awarded unanimously, with Councillors speaking in support of this great project.

The contractor GBM Contracting will commence works shortly after the Australia Day weekend. Works will be staged to lessen the impact on community and visitors to the area.

Completion of this project is expected to be in May 2024
