Tender closes Wednesday 15 November 2023.

Once the construction tender has been awarded, Council will work closely with the contractors to ensure minimal disruptions and will advise the school bus companies prior to works commencing.

The McKean Street pedestrian crossings are complete. 

The new pedestrian crossings and footpaths now provide a safer environment for Bairnsdale Secondary College students travelling to and from school.

Additional safety measures including tactile markers and Disability Discrimination Act1992 (DDA) compliant footpath crossings offer significant benefits to individuals with restricted mobility, making the area more inclusive for all.
