The McKean Street pedestrian crossings are finished.

The new pedestrian crossings and footpaths now provide a safer environment for Bairnsdale Secondary College students travelling to and from school. Additional safety measures, including tactile markers and Disability Discrimination Act1992 (DDA) compliant footpath crossings offer significant benefits to individuals with restricted mobility, making the area more inclusive for all.

Council is proud to deliver this safety improvement project for the Bairnsdale district and the East Gippsland community.
