Project Update - 13 December 2023

The resurfacing of the Peppercorn Park oval cricket pitch commenced at 7am today.

Council's works crew starting the new cricket pitch.

The pitch has been moved to a new location and height to suit the new oval size and contours.

Civil and drainage works are currently out to tender.

The new concrete for the pitch is anticipated to be installed next week, with Civil and Irrigation works to follow in the early New Year.

6000 square metres of new turf will be laid in March 2024 followed by oval fencing, goal posts and line marking.

The upgrades to the Peppercorn Park oval are now complete.

We are pleased to announce the completion of the upgrades to Peppercorn Park, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance recreational facilities within our community. 

These upgrades were meticulously planned and executed to provide our community with an additional high-quality playing surface and address the need for more training space.
