Half of the park remains open while works are underway - and it’s actually attracting even more visitors keen to check out the improvements in action.

Over the next 4 to 6 weeks, expect more construction activity on site with concrete pathway and shelter construction to occur.

After hearing from the community, the design also includes a quieter, passive dog area separated from the main play zone – perfect for smaller or more relaxed pups.

The Bosworth Road Dog Park officially opened to the community in December 2025.

The upgrade has transformed the dog park into a more accessible, comfortable and enjoyable space for both dogs and their owners.
